A stone classified as a group of mineraloids that do not have a crystal structure. The rainbow color effect is caused by the interference of light on regularly arranged submicroscopic silica spheres. The color of the most popular varieties of Opal comes from the presence of nickel, chromium, iron, or manganese. The value of Opals depends on their size, the attractiveness of their coloration, and above all, on their opalescence. The effect that causes this phenomenon is based on the refraction, dispersion, and reflection of light on small silica spheres located inside the mineraloid. Due to the presence of this phenomenon, we divide Opals into common and precious. The precious stone facilitates the closure of certain stages of life, allowing one to cut off from the past.
