Labradorite

A stone from the Feldspar group, classified as part of the sodium-potassium series known as plagioclases. Its color is unusual and rarely found among minerals: dark gray with metallic shades of garnet, blue, green, and yellow. It is a stone exhibiting pleochroism, or multicoloredness, which changes depending on the polarization of light passing through the stone.
